Pradeep H P

Pradeep H P hails from the heritage city Mysuru. He has won the prestigious National Post-Doctoral Fellowship from Science and Engineering Research Board, Government of India. Pradeep has a profound interest in biofilm biology and his recent research interest is to develop microengineered platforms for the early detection of biofilms in medical implants and clinical samples. He obtained his Master’s and Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of Mysore, Mysuru. Pradeep was a recipient of the Fulbright-Nehru Doctoral Research Fellowship from the Department of State, The United States of America and Senior Research Fellowship from Indian Council of Medical Research. His Ph.D. dissertation focused on the role of biofilms in promoting antimicrobial resistance in Staphylococci. As a Fulbright visiting scholar, he worked on mixed Staphylococcal biofilms at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio. He has also qualified Karnataka State Eligibility Test for Lectureship and while pursuing his Master’s he received the Summer Research Fellowship from the Indian Science Academies’.

Bhagaban Behera 

Bhagaban Behera hails from Balasore, Odisha. He has won the prestigious National Post-Doctoral Fellowship (NPDF) from Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Government of India. Bhagaban has a profound interest in MEMS and nanotechnology and his recent research interest is to develop electronics nose for non-invasive diabetic detection. He obtained his Master’s and Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. His Ph.D. dissertation was focused on the development of MEMS-based gas sensor using metal oxide nanostructure. He has also qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) and Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in physical science.
